The anointing of God is tangible,thus it can increase or decrease due to a number of factors- consecration, prayer and fasting; on the contrary, the word of God is always powerful, it never diminishes in strength unlike the Anointing. The reason is because Jesus is the word of God and the master can never reduce nor diminish in grace.
While I appreciate the anointing of God, it never hinders me from praying for the sick or laying hands when needed. I don't wait to feel a thing, I don't consider the last time I fasted before casting out devils- I just use the word. Don't let the devil tell you, you need to fast to cast him out, do not let demons tell you you,re not a pastor, hence you,re not qualified for signs and wonders. I am not trying to play down the grace of God or kingdom principles such as fasting and prayer- I engage in them quite well, but I have observed we can focus too much on engagement by fasting and prayer, that we begin to neglect our duties as believers to take authority by the word.
The word Christ means anointed, hence Jesus Christ means, Jesus the Anointed. Guess what? The anointed one is on your inside if you,re born again. If you are and have received the Holy Spirit, then you have all the anointing you need on your inside- when you speak the word of God, the anointed one confirms it, because he is the high priest of our confession.
So get set, open your mouth and speak to that situation, lay hands on your sick folks and speak healing and they shall recover; cast out devils and raise the dead in the name of Jesus-the name that is above all the names in the universe,because you are Anointed. Glory be to God.
